Hot Melt Glue-gun Case

The next project of our CAD/CAM class was about redesigning the case of a Hot Melt Glue-Gun, in order to keep in mind the internal components that make this product work. This time was harder because of the moving parts and the temperature involved in the functionality of this product. It implied to be really precise with the measurements and careful with the adaptation of the new shape.

That was the original Case.

This time the model was printed in PLA, because of the size and shape.

It worked perfectly, and as a requirement of the redesign of the product was to include an extra feature. So this case helps to hold the cable by introducing the plug into the handle.
